Marathon Media renews hit series Martin Mystery with M6 after 9 successful years

05/26/2010

Marathon Media and Zodiak Media Group Distribution have just renewed the TV broadcast rights with French channel M6 for the animated series Martin Mystery (66 X 26 min.).

Created for M6 and kids' channel Canal J in 2001, Martin Mystery has become one of the strongest programs identified with these two channels, which have broadcast the series continually since its beginnings. Created by Vincent Chalvon Demersay and David Michel and directed by Stéphane Berry (Totally Spies), Martin Mystery is coproduced by RAI, M6, Canal J and YTV.

Throughout the 66 adventure-packed, comedy-driven episodes, Martin and Diana, two teenagers with very different personalities, investigate strange enigmas involving extraordinary gooey creatures from the other side. Working for an investigation bureau specializing in paranormal phenomena, and aided by Java, a caveman lost in a time warp, they skip from their high-school routine to spooky caverns and creepy hideaways.

Besides France and Italy, Martin Mystery has proved a hit in a host of territories including the USA, Latin America and Australia (Nickelodeon), Europe (Jetix Europe), Asia (Disney Asia), Africa (CFI), Germany (Pro7), Belgium (RTL-CLT and SBS), Switzerland (TSR), Denmark (TV2 Danmark), Brazil (TV Globo), Poland (Canal +), Romania (ABC Plus), Greece (Alter Channel), Spain (La Forta), Ireland (RTE), the UK (BBC Alba), China (Guangzhou Beauty), plus Mexico, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Singapore, Chile, etc.
