With two million Street Football books sold, it is now available on iPad


Since the end of May, the 31 Street Football storybooks published by Hachette/Bibliothèque Verte have been available for iPad. Along with Garfield, Street Football is one of only two kids' properties that can be downloaded on-line. A 32nd volume is currently in the works, while the books have now sold more than 2 million copies.

Publisher Editions SOLEIL, which has already released 14 comic books based on the series, is bringing out a special World Cup album, in which the French team travel to South Africa for an exhibition match.

A special World Cup magazine (published by Paperbox) has been on newsstands since the start of June, featuring comic strips, exclusive news, interviews, games and so on.

At the end of June, Street Football will get connected, with the launch of an on-line game co-produced by FTV, FTD and Tribal Nova:

And on DVD, a one-hour special starring Nicolas Anelka is currently available in stores nationally (published by France Télévisions Distribution).

Lastly, Street Football is featured in kids' food packaging through two in-store operations currently underway for Andros compotes (collector cards) and P'tit Yop yogurts (stickers).
