Braquo awarded the 2011 TVFI Export Prize


Braquo, Canal+' smash hit series distributed by Zodiak Rights has been awarded on December 5th in Paris, the 2011 TVFI Export Prize in the fiction category.

This prize rewards each year the internationally bestselling French program abroad in its category and the role played by its international distributor, after a vote by several hundreds of professionals of the industry.

The first series of Braquo sold to a raft of territories including the UK (FX), Italy (Fox Intl. Channel, RAI Cinema), Brazil (GloboSat), Scandinavia (Scanbox), Canada (eOne), Belgium and Luxembourg (RTBF), France and French speaking territories (Jimmy), Czech Republic (Ceska Televise), Poland (Canal+), Switzerland (RSI) and Denmark (DR TV).

The second season (8x52') has been scoring record audiences ratings on Canal+ in France for the past 3 weeks with over 1.3 million regular viewers (20.7 market share among subscribers).

the French Zodiak Rights team has already won three Export Prizes in the past: for St-Tropez in 2004, for Totally Spies in 2005 and for Dolmen in 2006.
