Zodiak France appoints Edouard Duprey as Chief Creative Officer

Zodiak France today announced the appointment of Edouard Duprey as Chief Creative Officer, a newly created position.

As of September 1st, Edouard Duprey is responsible for creating original formats and coordinating all the creative activities and developments of Zodiak France across the entertainment, factual, documentary and drama genres.

Edouard Duprey will also contribute to the International Development Board (IDB), the unit dedicated at promoting new concepts across all territories and turning locally produced properties into global formats.

He reports to Gaspard de Chavagnac, President of Zodiak France since March 2014.

This recruitment follows that of Frederick Lacroix, appointed Head of Magazines, Factual and Documentary Zodiak France. These moves illustrate Zodiak France's ambition to continue its deployment in the French marketplace, where it already is a major player across all genres.

Edouard Duprey, an ESCP alumnus, started his career in 1998 with the CANAL+ group in the programming department. He joined FremantleMedia France in 2006 as Chief Creative Officer. In 2010, Edouard Duprey founded Kaly Productions, specialized in producing magazines, entertainment and fictions for M6, France Télévisions and CANAL+. He is also coproducing with Gaumont his first feature film, Coming In, scheduled to launch early 2015.
